Chamber at Noon: Mayo Clinic Expansion and Updates

Mayo Clinic is undergoing a significant expansion to enhance the patient experience, a multi-year project that will result in more patient beds, additional job opportunities and room for future growth. This expansion began in 2022 and is expected to be completed in 2026.

The hospital has several ongoing and recently completed projects, including new and expanded buildings, improved parking and the addition of a Hilton hotel.

Mayo Clinic's Director of Community Engagement Ashley Pratt will share an inside look at the hospital's updates and what's coming next, and what this means for the community and local economy.

About the speaker

Ashley Pratt works as the director of community engagement for Mayo Clinic in Florida, where she promotes and fosters employee volunteerism, develops and expands community partnerships, and identifies opportunities for collaboration between Mayo departments to engage and inform the community of Mayo Clinic initiatives. She has more than a decade of health care administrative experience, which began in Mayo's Department of Transplantation.

Ashley also has a passion for mentoring and leading a life of servant leadership through commitment to the community. She currently serves on the board of trustees for the Florida Chamber Foundation and serves on boards and committees for Changing Homelessness, Blue Zones Jacksonville and Operation New Hope. Ashley is a member of Leadership Jacksonville Class of 2022 and co-chairs Leadership Jacksonville 2023-24 Health Day.
