Freedom Boat Club of Northeast Florida Adds New Boats to its Newest Location on Julington Creek

The franchise added a fifth location and new boats for members to enjoy boating freedom on the First Coast

Jacksonville, Fla., Sept. 22, 2025 – Freedom Boat Club (FBC) of Northeast Florida is now offering its members new chic and sporty boats at its new location along Julington Creek. The boat club opened Julington Creek West earlier this year to provide members with more boating freedom with 17 additional boats in the FBC fleet, including 13 brand new Barletta pontoon boats. This, combined with the red-carpet concierge service, makes boating with Freedom Boat Club simple and luxurious. 

“We are so excited to be able to offer our members these amazing boats at our new location that are more family-friendly and more pet-friendly than ever,” said Lisa Almeida, co-owner of FBC of Northeast Florida. “Our new location also adds more value to a Freedom Boat Club membership, giving our members one more option and even more boats to choose from to enjoy all the boat accessible landmarks on the First Coast.”

The Barletta pontoon boats offer boat club members convenience and ease of use with electronic tops, making them easier for members to maneuver up and down. The boats provide a more comfortable seating arrangement, including a co-captain chair and furniture that wraps around the boat's perimeter, allowing a safer boating experience for children and pets. There is also a special doggy-dock view from the bow and port gates. In addition, the boats include a designated tow pole, making it easier to enjoy water sports.

Julington Creek West, at 12796 San Jose Blvd., is on the west side of the Julington Creek bridge, and complements the location east of the bridge. Members can enjoy instant access to the vast St. Johns River from this new location and many local landmarks. To the north, Freedom Boat Club members boat to downtown Jacksonville, local sporting events and entertainment, restaurants and Exchange Island. To the south, members can cruise to Black Creek, Doctor’s Lake, Palatka and Green Cove Springs, and dock at restaurants like Outback Crab Shack, Whitey’s Fish Camp, and Corky Bell’s.

Julington Creek West is just one of five locations where members enjoy boating freedom around the First Coast. Additional locations include Julington Creek Marina to the east of this new location, Beach Marine in Jacksonville Beach, Camachee Cove Marina in St. Augustine, and The St. Augustine Shipyard.
