Laboratory Tech w/ Phlebotomy Skills

Job Description

- All testing collection processes for drug, alcohol, DNA tests, physical exams and clinical testing (urine, saliva, hair, phlebotomy, vital signs).

- Perform observed and unobserved urine collections.

- Perform contract after-hours collections, as well as on-site collections at various workplaces as directed.

- Continuous professional development and training within all relevant job functions.

- Perform basic cleaning to comply with lab protocol/daily office cleaning duties

- Administer accurate, reliable, confidential, and timely notifications.

- Work under the direct supervision of the Lab Manager.

- Office administration, record keeping and upkeep, adhering to all relevant state/federal regulations, as well as company policies, and procedures.

-Maintain customer protocols and electronic customer management.

- Maintain inventory including ordering, receiving, and storing.

- Answer phones, schedule appointments.

- Communicate accurately with clients, Designated Employee Representative, and Medical Review Officers.

-Other duties as assigned.

Phlebotomist and other Medical Staff

ARCpoint requires a certified phlebotomist that is trained and at least 18 years of age 

in order to collect blood, regardless of if your state does not have a regulation on who can draw 

blood. Your state may have additional requirements

and to hire accordingly. 

We may consider hiring a trained MA for swab and other collections. Some states have 

regulations around what type of specimens an MA can collect.

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday (Part-Time select days / hours)
• No weekends
• On call available
• Ability to perform mobile collections (preferred)

Experience:

• Phlebotomy: 3 years (Required)
• Specimen collection / processing: 3 years (Required)
• Blood sampling: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician (Required)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Required)
