Journeyman Electrician

This is a hands-on, full-time role for someone who takes pride in quality work, safety, and customer service.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, wiring, panels, lighting, and generators

Read blueprints, schematics, and proposals

Test electrical systems for proper function and code compliance

Complete daily work orders accurately

Maintain tools, vehicles, materials, and job site cleanliness

Follow OSHA, NEC, and company safety standards

Requirements

• Journeyman Electrician license or certification
• Minimum 5 years of recent experience
• Strong NEC and electrical troubleshooting knowledge
• Must provide own hand tools
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in fluent English, including the ability to communicate
• expectations clearly to crews and customers

Schedule & Location

• Full-time, Monday–Friday (OT as required)
• 40 hours/week with occasional overtime
• Jacksonville, FL & surrounding areas (up to 25% travel)

Additional Requirements

• Ability to pass background and drug screening (including marijuana)
• Valid Florida driver’s license
• Clean driving record and insurable under company auto policy
• Ability to work at heights, in hot attics/crawl spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs (100 lbs with assistance)
