Foreman Electrician – Full Time

This is a hands-on leadership role for an electrician who is comfortable leading people—not just projects—and who takes pride in quality work, safety, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians on job sites
• Perform advanced electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repairs
• Plan daily work, assign tasks, and coordinate crews to meet project timelines
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and job specifications
• Ensure all work meets NEC, OSHA, local codes, and company standards
• Oversee installation of panels, generators, lighting, and complex systems
• Enforce safety procedures and maintain clean, organized job sites
• Communicate professionally with project managers, team members, and customers
• Complete job documentation, track labor and materials, and monitor progress

Requirements

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license
• Minimum 8 years of progressive electrical experience, including crew leadership
• Proven experience leading job sites and supervising electricians
• Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and electrical safety standards
• Excellent troubleshooting and decision-making skills
• Ability to clearly communicate expectations and lead teams effectively
• Must provide required hand tools
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in fluent English, including the ability to communicate

Schedule & Location

Full-time, Monday–Friday

40 hours/week with occasional overtime

Jacksonville, FL & surrounding areas (up to 25% travel)

Additional Requirements

Ability to pass background and drug screening (including marijuana)

Valid Florida driver’s license

Clean driving record and insurable under company auto policy

Ability to work at heights, in hot attics/crawl spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs (100 lbs with assistance)
