FIPL hosts virtual campaign school and community leadership training
The St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Florida Institute for Political Leadership, an initiative by the Florida Chamber of Commerce, is pleased to host a virtual Campaign School and Community Leadership Training.This 2-part online training school is scheduled for May 13-14, 5:30-8 p.m. each day.
The virtual training school is highly recommended for candidates and anyone interested in running for local or state office, serving their community, or managing campaigns. It is open to everyone, free to attend, and non-partisan. Participants are welcome to attend any or all days offered.
FIPL Campaign School & Leadership Trainings provide a comprehensive briefing on emerging local and state issues, teach attendees on what local opportunities are available for appointed or elected positions, offer guidance on how to prepare to run for office in the future, and provide training on how to run winning campaigns.
Presenters include state and local political experts, elected officials, university professors, and community leaders.

The FIPL was created to assist leaders who want to improve their local communities by serving in appointed positions or in elected offices. The institute is a non-partisan program designed to recruit, train and guide people by providing leadership and training opportunities to get better candidates across the State of Florida. Organized, funded, and managed by the Florida Chamber of Commerce, the institute partners with local chambers of commerce and interested organizations across Florida to host campaign schools and training programs.
