Final Enrollment Window Open for School Choice in St. Johns County

The St. Johns County School District is working hard to prepare our students for the future of work. The school district is now accepting applications for Controlled Open Enrollment (COE) for the final window of the school year, and encourages families who may be interested to apply.

This window is open through April 17 and is available to all Florida residents. COE is a statewide school choice option that allows families to apply to schools outside of their district-assigned attendance boundary, based on availability.

This opportunity provides a range of benefits, including:

· Continued high-quality academic programs supported by strong instructional practices

· Schools that align with a child’s interests, learning style, or future goals

· Locations that may be closer to home, work, or childcare

If you know families whose children do not currently attend a St. Johns County school and who may be exploring school options for the upcoming school year, please help us spread the word before April 17.
