Whitney serves as the Chief Development Officer for the North and Central Florida Region of the American Red Cross. Whitney has 20 years of experience serving on the front lines as a fundraiser and enjoys all aspects of philanthropy but especially loves building teams, developing relationships and engaging the communities in which she serves. Like all Red Crossers, Whitney has a passion for the Red Cross’s mission and understands that as the world continues to change, with the increase in the frequency of disasters—the need for the Red Cross’s mission has never been greater. Prior to her life in fundraising, Whitney graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Economics.
Kelly Wilson| Deputy Director of St. Johns County Emergency Management
Kelly Wilson has served St. Johns County since 2006, beginning as the Emergency Management Planner, Emergency Management Coordinator, and now as the Deputy Director of Emergency Management. Wilson specializes in Comprehensive Emergency Management Planning including hazard mitigation planning and continuity of operations planning. She also maintains the social media presence and coordinates public outreach to the community. Prior to coming to St. Johns County, she served as the Planner for the City of Key West specializing in land use planning. Her educational background includes a Master of Science from the University of South Florida focused on environmental science.
